PARALEGAL (Real Property & Corporate)
MacMullin Law Inc. is seeking a Paralegal (Real Estate & Corporate) to join the team.

Responsibilities:

Title, Lien, Judgment and Sub-Searches;

Migration of Real Property;
-
Assisting with documentation for real estate and corporate transactions;

Answering basic communications and responding to inquiries from clients;
-
Arranging couriers and managing incoming and outgoing correspondence and documents;
-
Trust Reporting: Tracking receipts, preparing cheques, bank deposits;
-
Scheduling appointments, managing boardrooms, arranging meetings, and maintaining accurate calendar activities;

Proofreading all work for completeness, correct grammar, spelling, typographical and format errors;

Maintaining organized electronic and paper files;

Photocopying and binding; and
-
File Management;
Skills & Qualifications:
-
Property Online – familiar with electronic and paper submissions, as well as migration, and other searching requirements;

Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills;
-
Independent and self-motivated;
-
Strong organizational and time management skills, with ability to multitask;
-
Excellent technical skills with computer operating systems and Microsoft office and similar software programs;
-
Attention to detail;
-
Familiar with Mortgage Conditions and Mortgage Instruction Process;

Experience in an office setting preferred; and
-
Completion of Paralegal Diploma or experience in a legal setting required.
